Fall 2015 Travel & ITL Soccer Registration

Boys and Girls born between 8/1/2001 and 8/31/2007 are eligible to register and try out for Fall Travel teams. Players must try out for a team in order to be placed. Tryout schedule posted soon.
Under 10 Boys and Girls born between 8/1/2005 and 8/31/2007 register and tryout for a very limited number of Travel teams. Trying out does not guarantee placement on a travel team. U10 players who try out and do not make a Travel team will be placed on a U10 In-Town team, along with those U10 registrants who
do not try out.
Travel teams play competitive soccer in the Middlesex Youth Soccer League against teams from other towns in the League. The Fall 2015, Travel Soccer season starts in early September and runs for ten weeks, with games played on Saturdays. In-Town teams practice twice per week and play against other Reading In-Town teams.

Coaches and Assistants are always needed. Please list your desire to coach during registration and do not forget to list the volunteer's name. If you have players in more than one age group, please indicate which age group you wish to coach.
Fall Travel & Under 10 Registration fee is $110.00 per player

NE Revolution Tickets

RUSC at the NE Revolution 9/26

Each year RUSC organizes a group purchase of New England Revolution tickets at a discounted rate.

NE Revolution vs. Philadelphia Union on September 26 at 7:30 PM

Tickets are just $10 — that’s a $39 Category II ticket for just $10!

Only 150 tickets available & those always sell quickly.

Get your tickets now by clicking on the link to the RUSC Online Store (above)

The Revs currently sit in 5th place out of 10 teams in MLS’s Eastern Conference, but are favorites to lock in a playoff spot with US National Team regular Jermaine Jones (#13 on Revolution) returning to the line-up this August after 3 months out due to sports hernia surgery. The Union, on the other hand, have struggled this season, and will likely need a win in this game to sniff this year’s MLS playoffs. Philadelphia boasts a core of young players alongside veterans like former US National Team regular Maurice Edu (#8 on Union), who used to partner with Jermaine Jones in the US National Team’s midfield. But don’t expect too many smiles and handshakes between the two on this night, as this match has too many playoff implications to be taken lightly. The Union will also be looking for revenge from a 2-1 loss to the Revs at their home stadium back in April, so expect a hard-fought match to take place on this night..

But wait ... there’s more. We will convoy down to a reserved, free parking area at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough for a fun tailgate party starting at 5:30PM and ending 15 minutes before the game. You can bring a grill, your favorite food, and beverages. Like last year, we will hold the ball juggling and freestyle competitions with Revs memorabilia as prizes—start practicing!

It makes my life easier if you read this description and buy your tickets right now, so if you order more than (4) tickets you will receive your choice of (2) pre-game field passes or (2) spots in the Rally Tunnel prior to the game. Both of these are first-come-first serve while they last.

I know what you are thinking: the tickets are discounted, the parking is free, pre-game perqs, memorabilia, we get waved past the lines, soccer is a great game…what else you got Brian?

I've got one more thing. This year we have again negotiated a special perk for ages 7-12. RUSC teams who sign up their >10 players for tickets will be entered into a drawing for passes to go down to the field at Gillette Stadium during opening ceremonies as player escorts!  How cool is that? To participate in the drawing your team coach must submit the roster to me after you have purchased. Start spreading the word now and get your group together.

Ticket sales close Friday 9/4 and pickup will be announced shortly afterwards. It will be at Collins Field (Parker) and/or the Burbank YMCA around 6:30PM. Tickets cannot be mailed.

This event is a lot of fun for kids and adults and I hope everyone can come to enjoy the “beautiful game” with RUSC at the Revs.
