Reading United Soccer Club

Coaches Page

Welcome to the RUSC coaches page. Coaches play a major role in the success of any soccer club. We are thankful for the time you devote to the children and young adults that are part of our soccer community. Without your time and effort we would not be able to provide so many opportunities for kids who want to play soccer.

It is our aim that this page will provide you with easier access to the information you may need to coach your team throughout the season.

The 'Coaching Links' below include detailed skills games and complete practice plans. Please feel free to print and use as needed - no need to reinvent what has already been done. Please contact the Webmaster to report errors or to suggest additional content.

Also, please review the MYS Dual Rostering Statement to use as a guideline for players who play on more than one team during the season. Clear communication is needed between coach, player and parents to minimize conflicts - the guidelines herein will go a long way toward helping to set expectations.

Please contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
