RUSC In-House Futsal Clinic & Game Night 2025 (Grade 7/8)

Led by Joe DaSilva (RUSC Pro Coach), this will be a tailored 90 minute clinic for Grade 7-8 Boys. The program is designed to enhance soccer fundamentals in a fun and dynamic environment. The clinic will cover: shooting, 1v1 attacking, passing, off-ball support, 1v1 defending, defensive principles, and more! The program is designed to foster continued player development and will maximize players’ touches on the ball. About 60 minutes of the program will be clinic format, followed by about 30 minutes of full sided futsal scrimmage.

Logistics (all pending permits)

Time/Location: Wednesday Nights at either Coolidge Middle School or Parker Middle School

Time: 6 PM or later for 90 minutes. Program will end no later than 9 PM (earlier if possible).

Dates: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5

Price: $160

*Note- if there is insufficient enrollment, the program will be canceled and families will be fully refunded minus the sports connect fee.

RUSC In-House Futsal Program 2025 (Session 2)

This will be a high touch indoor soccer (futsal) program run by Joe DaSilva (RUSC Pro Coach).

All sessions will be run by pro coaching staff with the focus on player development and having fun!

Futsal (indoor soccer) is a great way to improve a player’s touch on the ball and is a lot of fun!

Each session will be half clinic (skills development) and half small indoor games.

Games will be officiated by pro coaching staff with emphasis on teaching and skill development.

All skills are welcome. Pending sufficient enrollment, players will be placed on a “team” with a schedule being posted at least one week prior to the season.

The tentative schedule is listed below for planning purposes.

Tentative Start Times (Saturdays only for one hour):

Boys Grade 34: 3:30 or 4:30

Girls Grade 34: 3:30 or 4:30

Boys Grade 56: 4:30, 5:30 or 6:30

Girls Grade 56: 4:30, 5:30 or 6:30

Session 2 Dates: 2/8. 2/22, 3/1,3/8, 3/15 (No program MLK weekend).

RUSC Travel and ITL Spring 2025

Middlesex League Youth Soccer (MYSL) and RUSC In Town League (ITL) programs. Both start in early April and run through early/mid June.

Registration CLOSES on 11/10 for all travel teams for league submission.

Late fee ($25) in effect starting November 3rd for Grade 3+ (travel).
Grades are based on your players grade as of September, 2024. Please select the correct program.

IMPORTANT: Price now INCLUDES a travel kit (jersey/shorts/socks) for the Fall 24 and Spring 25 seasons.

When entering sizes, please plan for both seasons. Any replacement kits will incur additional charges.

Player Evaluations (aka Tryouts)

These will start early November. Details to follow

Note on ITL Program: This is an In-Town Program for Grades 3 and 4 ONLY.

Games are normally played Saturday in Reading with two practices in the early afternoon during the week.

Registration is open for the program and will close once a maximum number has been reached. The program format could change based on enrollment numbers.
